Small Group Service Project Information Four easy steps to service.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Kitchen
Come be a part of serving 800+ individuals a hot nutritious meal!
Activities Include: Food Prep, Cleaning, Dishwashing, Serving, Bussing Tables, etc.
Available Volunteer Times:
Monday - Saturday
Breakfast:
7:00am arrival if bringing food to serve
8:00am arrival if serving HFM food
Lunch:
10:00am arrival if bringing food to serve
10:30am arrival if serving HFM food

Clothing Shop
Help provide 700-1000 individuals with clothing outfits and hygiene products weekly.
Activities Include: Personal Shopper - Assist clients in picking out clothes for interviews and everyday wear.
Available Volunteer Times:
Saturday: 8:30am - 11:30am

Facility
Ensure the facility is clean and able to provide quality, dignified care to our clients. Activities Include: Construction Projects, Maintenance, Organizing, Cleaning, Trash Pickup, etc.
Available Volunteer Times:
Monday - Saturday Anytime

Furniture
Assist in acquiring and delivering furniture to 15 client families weekly.
Activities Include: Organizing, Sorting, Driving, Pickups and Deliveries, etc. (Box Truck Drivers Needed)
Available Volunteer Times:
Monday - Saturday Anytime

Laundry
Provide much-needed laundry care to clients for job search, interviews and school. Activities Include: Washing, Drying & Folding Clothes.
Available Volunteer Times:
Monday - Saturday Anytime

Professional Skills
Use your professional skills to provide care to the homeless and less fortunate.
Specialist Needs Include: Legal, Medical, Counseling, Computer, Job-Training, etc.

Hair Salon
Provide Hair-Care to over 200 clients weekly in our Hair Salon & Barber Shop.
Activities Include: Styling, Washing, Braiding, Etc. Available Volunteer Times:
Monday - Saturday Anytime

Music & Arts
Utilize our stage to provide wholesome entertainment to our clients.
Activities Include: Drama Teams, Live Music, Bingo, Comedy, Dance, Etc.
Available Volunteer Times:
Monday - Saturday 11:45am - 3:00pm

Recreation Room
Host or play games with our clients in a safe, fun environment.
Activities Include: Playing, Hosting, or Facilitating wholesome games.
Available Volunteer Times:
Monday - Saturday Anytime

Sunday Services
Host a church service for the homeless and less fortunate of Kansas City.
Activities Include: Worship, Preaching, Teaching, Communion, Baptisms, Serving Breakfast.

7:00am arrival if serving HFM food
Service: 9:00am

Prayer Room
Come pray with and for our clients.
Available Volunteer Times:
Monday - Saturday Anytime

Classrooms
Use your knowledge to enrich our clients in the classrooms at Hope Faith Ministries.
Activities Include: Bible Studies, Teaching Varied Topics
Available Volunteer Times:
Saturday: 11:45am - 3:00pm
Monday - Friday: 6:30am - 3:00pm

Community Garden
Put that green thumb to use building and maintaining the Community Garden.
Activities Include: Planning, Planting & Maintenance.
Available Volunteer Times:
Monday - Saturday Anytime

Donation Drives
Share the needs of the homeless with your friends, churches and communities.
Needs Include: Hygiene Products, Clothing, Furniture, Food, etc.
