Hope Faith Ministries is a non-profit - 501(c)(3), non-denominational, faith-based ministry that serves the needs of the homeless and less-fortunate in Kansas City, Missouri.

Vision

Our vision is to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty in Kansas City, serving the homeless and less fortunate people in our community without reservation or precondition.

Mission

Our mission is to equip, resource, and release the homeless and less fortunate people in Kansas City back into society.

Who We Are

Hope Faith Ministries is an outreach to the homeless and less fortunate of Kansas City. We serve between 450 and 500 clients each day, each with a diverse range of emotional, spiritual and physical needs. We are an equipping day center, a place they can call home, where our clients can get out of the elements, enjoy a hot nutritious meal, and receive the services they need to see transformation in their lives.

HFM Recipient of $25,000 Passion Award

Hope Faith Ministries was a recipient of a Passion Award at The Servant Christian Community Foundation's 2009 Passion Awards on November 9, 2009. The Passion Awards is one of the largest ministry awards celebrations in the entire country. This year's theme was Faith Unleashed: No Excuses! The awards celebrate God's work through organizations that have unleashed their faith. This year, 220 organizations submitted proposals to the The Servant Christian Community Foundation. Hope Faith Ministries was one of two organizations to receive their top award, in the amount of $25,000!

It was with great sadness that we learned of the death of our friend and crusader for the homeless, Mr. Andre Bess. Andre was a beloved and tireless worker for the needs of our homeless community.
Andre had recently resigned from Hope Faith Ministries and started a new career path. But, he was not forgotten by his friends and clients at Hope Faith Ministries. The firm footprint he left behind will not easily fade away.
On behalf of the staff, friends and clients of Hope Faith Ministries, we extend our condolences to Andre's family, and offer our prayers, thoughts and sympathies during this time of loss.
